Rose Confessions - 21 Steps To A New You


You may be wondering what's are Rose Confessions? So glad you asked...

We confess not just bad things or wrongs we have done, but we also confess good things, and declare positively into the universe what we want to see happen. Rose Confessions follow the principles of Romans 4:17 "(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were." So for the next 21 confessions, join me as we call forth all the good things we want and cancel all the negative things we do not want in our lives. It's the beginning of a new year, and while it's also the ending of the 1st month, it's never too late to form new habits.

Why 21 confessions you ask? Good question ...

Our brains have been designed so magnificently to function in order and cognitive repetition helps our brains to register patterns (Habits).

According to Wikipedia:

Habits are sometimes compulsory. The process by which new behaviours become automatic is habit formation. Old habits are hard to break and new habits are hard to form because the behavioural patterns we repeat are imprinted in our neural pathways, but it is possible to form new habits through repetition.

Wiki's definitions, not enough, then take Brian Tracy's word - the author of more than 60 books and has producer of more than 500 audio and video learning programs on sales, management, business success and personal development, including worldwide bestseller The Psychology of Achievement. Habits are formed and broken in 21 days. So for the next 21 confessions, we will confess (declare) new things, good things, favor, blessings and healing into our lives, our surroundings and our future.

This is how our 21 steps will work:

We’ll do these over 42 days (I like to call it, a double portion solidification).

Day 1: Confession #1 (declaration of good)

Day 2: The day after meditation.

This day is for continued declaration of that confession (declaration of good), a chance for further meditation on the Scripture for that confession; quiet time to listen for any divine inspiration, dreams, visions and/or instructions. A moment to let yourself heal and replenish.

It may be best to do this as part of your early morning routine, and do so in front of the mirror.

Day 3: Confession #2

Day 4: The day after meditation.

(Repeat with new confession)

You get the picture, right?! Good!!!

Let’s get started …

To jump start our 21 Steps, we must detox -- create space for new habits (labor) for harvest (results):

1. Get a Journal and Label it: Journey To A Better Me

2. On the first page, write out (confessions for pardon) every bad or even things you thought, said or done to others (and yourself) and even those that were done towards you.

3. End that page with this prayer: Father, I bring these confessions to you, in the Name of Jesus. According to 1st John Chapter 1 verse 9 - If I confess my sins (bad thoughts, words and actions), You are faithful and just and will forgive me my sins and purify me from all unrighteousness. So please receive my confessions and forgive me, so that I can be purified (detoxed) to start my Journey to a Better Me over the next 21 days. Amen.

4. Make sure to subscribe so you can receive the 21 steps when each is posted.

5. Go to sleep, turn off your electronics, block out the noises around you and let the Holy Spirit calm your soul, mind, and body as you prepare to enter a new and exciting season of your life.

Regardless of what life or others fling at me, I earned my thorns and cannot be trampled upon. So don't despise the thorns in your life, they have a purpose - to strengthen, protect, and create awareness of what a ROSE you are.
