It is the 6th day of the second month of the year already.
Wow!
Time, take your time.
It was quite something, traveling back today, from going to FL to pay last respects to a dear mentor and retired man of the service, my uncle - Dr. Shelton Wood, Jr. Filled with emotions, sleep from the lack thereof, and just the sheer hastle to get a few bags off the belt at the airport in DC, I really just wanted to crawl into my bed and sleep. God had other plans šš½
About 3 weeks or so ago, I convened my 1st Strategic Planning Seminar for 2019 (šš½ TGBTG) and I was priviledged to do so at my home church... as I was chatting with my sister and almost started to bug out, it all came back to me: A New Altitude In Kingdom Service Requires A New Altitude in Dedication -- the overarching theme or takeaway from the seminar.
Well, you know the rest, I was present for Light Through The Word (Midweek Wed. Night Service) and was enabled by the Holy Spirit for our last 1st of the month Prayer Meeting for the closing out church year.
So many things transpired within this year and the last caledar year that were enough to make me and so many of us -- basket cases, almost, BUT for the grace of God, I made it (so did you). While in flight as I looked out my window suspended in the air, hitting a few air bumps; The Lord reminded me, be anxious for nothing, I will take care of you. You know those are the times, your life kind of flashes by in your mind or you think of all the things to be done when you hit the ground.
I heard my thoughts asking: š¤
Nothing ...? You really mean that God?
You know how our mind likes to ask a multiplicity of questions, but I took courage and strength in mid air -- my worrying won't change a thing ... so just let it go.
We landed š¬ and had to wait for our bags, people were fussing, the staff was fussing and I just stood there waiting. The bags came and then it would be another hour or so before we could get on our side of town. At this point, sleep has been really caressing my eyelids and š“ ... but on my mind, was a mini debate about attending tonight's 1st Wednesday Prayer Meeting, oh Lord how am I gonna do this? š¤¦š½āāļø
I got home minutes to 6pm, freshened up šæ and as if the Holy Spirit just showered me with energy and led me. I arrived at church in good timeā³ to print the prayer points (that I adapted earlier for myself) that the Lord released me to share with my church family.
Soaring At New Altitudes Without Worry & Anxiety ... is our theme this month.
You see, our theme this year at LHMI is "A NEW ALTITUDE REQUIRES A NEW ALTITUDE" received of the Holy Spirit and released by our Overseer.
For others it may be okay, but for me, it's a case of "to whom much is given, much is required" ... and oh boy, oh boy, was I so glad I obied, stayed committed to the call and responsibility given to me with a positive attitude and showed up ready to PUSH ... we had a great time in the presence of The Lord.
Download the Prayer Points for February [click here ] and keep them nearby. Trust me, this year is moving at a rate of no returns, you cannot afford worry or anxiety or you'll be left behind. I pray for you as I pray for me that we will REST henceforth in the Lord and in His precious Promises this month.

Be anxious for NOTHING beloved šš½š¤.
Overcome worry, doubt, anxiety and fear with GRATITUDE and HUMILITY this month and by extension -- this year!!
